Site-Mixed Concrete Advantages
Cut down on cost and time with our advanced remote-controlled volumetric trucks.
High-Strength Concrete
Fresh, site-mixed concrete ensures consistent high-strength results. Program mixes into the truck before the pour and dispense with the touch of a button — quality guaranteed every time.
Fewer Workers Needed
One truck with remote control means fewer workers on site. No waiting for additional trucks stuck in traffic — pour exactly what you need with lower labor costs.
Expert, Efficient Pours
Our experienced professionals program precise mixes and deliver with minimal effort. No work stoppage, no delays — just efficient concrete pours from start to finish.
Remote-Controlled Concrete Delivery
Our volumetric trucks feature advanced remote-control systems that revolutionize curb and gutter concrete delivery. Program multiple mix designs before arriving and switch between them instantly during the pour.
This technology eliminates the traditional challenges of curb work — no more waiting, no wasted concrete, and consistent quality throughout your entire project.
Programmable Mixes
Pre-program multiple mix designs and switch at the touch of a button during the pour.
No Wait Times
Continuous operation without waiting for additional trucks stuck in traffic.
Lower Labor Costs
One operator controls the pour — fewer workers required on site.

Frequently Asked Questions
Contractors, developers, and municipalities ask the same questions about site-mixed curb and gutter concrete. Here's what you need to know before booking a pour.
Still have questions? →Curb and gutter projects rarely need one truckload — they need the exact volume, mixed fresh, delivered on the crew's schedule. Traditional ready-mix forces you to order full loads and pour within a 90-minute batch-to-pour window. Our volumetric trucks carry raw materials and mix on-site, so there's no rush, no waste, and no returned concrete charges.
For continuous slip-form curb runs or repair patches, that flexibility saves both time and cost on every pour.
The operator carries a remote unit and can walk alongside the discharge chute, controlling mix ratio, flow rate, and start/stop at the touch of a button. This means one operator can position the truck, adjust the mix mid-pour, and match the pace of the curb machine or crew — without a second worker on the truck controls.
For slip-form curb work, the operator can slow flow at corners and speed up on straight runs to match machine speed exactly.
Standard curb and gutter mixes run 25-32 MPa strength, 80-100mm slump, 5-8% air content, and 20mm max aggregate — the specs municipal and commercial projects typically require. For special applications we can program stiffer mixes for extruded curb, higher air content for aggressive freeze-thaw exposure, or accelerated set for cold weather.
Give us the engineer's spec sheet or the project's mix design number and we'll program it exactly.
Yes. We regularly pour to City of Calgary and Alberta Transportation specs, including strength testing, slump testing, and air content verification on-site. Our trucks produce batch tickets on demand for inspector documentation and QC records.
Because we mix on-site, cylinders taken for testing come from the same material actually going into your curb — not a batch that sat in transit. This gives cleaner test results and fewer rejected pours.
Yes — that's the biggest advantage of volumetric delivery. For a subdivision rollout we can run continuous pours across multiple blocks without waiting for return trips to the plant. For a small repair patch that only needs 0.5–1.0 m³, we mix exactly that much and you pay only for what's used — no minimum load charge, no wasted concrete going back to the plant.
This flexibility is why municipal maintenance crews and subdivision developers both use the same trucks.
Yes. We can program rapid-set accelerators and hot water into the mix at pour time to extend the pouring season into cold weather. For projects below freezing, we recommend blankets or heated enclosures on the fresh pour to protect against freeze-thaw damage during initial cure.
Because we adjust the mix on-site, we can dial in the accelerator dose to match the day's temperature — something pre-batched drum trucks cannot do.
